Electronic
waste (E-waste) management refers to the disposal of
computers, laptops, television, monitors, DVD players,
cables, batteries, different types of boards, and other
IT inventory. While most of these items have become
an essential part of our life, many contain hazardous
components including copper, lead, cadmium and polyvinyl
chloride. When products containing these toxic elements
are dumped into landfills, the poisonous elements can
be leaked into our soil and water. If the toxins are
inhaled, it can affect the human nervous system, lung,
kidney, skin, and eyes.
That is why proper electronic waste disposal is not
a luxury, it is vital. And we make it easy for our customers
by offering a variety of IT disposition services. We
work with only certified recyclers who adhere to government
regulations. Right now only a small percentage of E-waste
has been recycled properly and safely, but we are working
to change that.
