We can do our part to help the environment, whether at home or at the office. Many electronic consumer goods such as cell phones, computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other household electronics can be disposed of safely.

Small devices can be disposed of through recycling bags provided by authorized recyclers. These bags can be found in schools, post offices, grocery or retail stores. For larger devices, many major retailers have set up a series of recycling programs that allow the consumer to return the product for proper disposal. These programs can be found on the retailers’ website.

Manufacturers or retailers with large disposal needs should work with asset recovery or reverse logistics providers. If electronic waste is re-useable then it can be donated to schools or other facilities in the United States or abroad.
